Snowcoach Tours
During the winter months the paved roads of the Park are not plowed. Therefore the only motorized access to the interior of the park is by snowmobile or "snow-coach".

Most of the snow coaches now-a-days are modern vans that have had their wheels removed and replaced with large rubber treads. They offer a smooth and quiet ride.
Plus they have heaters and the drivers are very knowledgeable of the area. The guides will even stop when asked and allow you to photograph the park's geysers and wildlife.
Snowcoach shuttles run from:
- West Yellowstone to Old Faithful and the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone
- Old Faithful to Canyon
- South Entrance to Old Faithful
- Mammoth to Old Faithful
- Mammoth to West Yellowstone
- Mammoth to Canyon
These shuttles start running in mid December through the beginning of March.
