Horseback Riding
Horseback riding is one of the most popular activities guests enjoy when visiting the Yellowstone National Park. Enjoy everything from 2-hour trail rides to all-day backcountry treks, and even multi-day adventures. Visit each one to see which outfitter best meets your needs.
Private stock can be brought into the park. Overnight stock use is not permitted prior to July 1, due to range readiness and/or wet trail conditions. Horses are not allowed in frontcountry campgrounds, but are permitted in certain backcountry campsites.
