Mammoth Campground
Mammoth Campground is located near the fascinating and beautiful Mammoth Hot Springs terraces near Yellowstone's North Entrance at an elevation of 6,200 feet. This camping area is open year-round. Restrooms and water are provided, and there are 85 designated campsites. Summer activities in the area include fishing, horseback riding, and hiking. Also available is a visitors center and campfire talks.
The maximum recommended trailer length for the area is 45 feet. Please limit your stay to 14 days between June 15 and September 15 and 30 days the rest of the year. You will be required to pay a small daily fee for the use of this campground. Checkout time for all campgrounds is 10:00am.
