Yellowstone National Park is broken up into seven unique districts. Each offers a variety of services, including campgrounds, lodging, dining, visitor centers, ranger stations, and stores. Read on for all the details.

Where can I find a Visitor Center?

  • Albright Visitor Center (Mammoth): Open daily all year. 307-344-2263.
  • Bridge Bay Backcountry Office: Open seasonally. Backcountry permits and general park info.
  • Canyon Visitor Education Center: Open daily from May 12th-Oct 14th. 307-344-2550.
  • Old Faithful Visitor Center: Open daily from April 20th to Nov 4th. 307-344-2750.
  • Fishing Bridge Visitor Center: Open daily from May 23rd to September 30th. 307-344-2450.
  • Grant Visitor Center: Open daily from May 26th to September 30th. 307-344-2650.
  • Junior Ranger Station (at the Madison Information Station): Open daily from May 26th to September 3rd. 307-344-2821.

Where can I find the nearest campgrounds and lodging options?

Where can I buy groceries or dine within Yellowstone National Park?

  • Groceries and General Stores: Available at Canyon Village, Fishing Bridge, Grant Village, Lake Village, Old Faithful, and Tower Falls during the summer. Mammoth has a general store that is open year-round.
  • Restaurants: Available at Canyon Lodge, Grant Village, Lake House at Grant, Lake Hotel, Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel, Old Faithful Inn, Old Faithful Snow Lodge, and Roosevelt Lodge. Cafeterias are available at Canyon Lodge, Lake Lodge, and Old Faithful Lodge.

  • Mammoth Clinic: Open year-round. June-September: 7 days a week. Winter: Monday-Friday. Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years. (307) 344-7965.
