Yellowstone River

The origins of the Yellowstone River lie in Absaroka Mountains of Yellowstone Park. The river flows into the immense Yellowstone Lake. It then heads North, racing through the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. The River exits the Park at the town of Gardiner, Montana, where it becomes open to floating of all types.
