Wedding Locations:

Unless you’re getting married at Mammoth Chapel, you must apply to YNP Visitor Services Office for a non-refundable, $50 permit two weeks prior to your Yellowstone wedding. The non-denominational Mammoth Chapel requires a reservation and $100 ceremony fee. Contact YNP Superintendent’s office (307) 344-2003.

Marriage Licenses:

Wyoming

• $25.00
• You do not have to be a Wyoming resident.
• You receive your license immediately and can marry immediately.
• Minimum age required is 18.
• Divorced/Widowed Applicants must provide a copy of the divorce decree or death certificate.

Montana

• $53.00
• You do not have to be a Montana resident.
• You receive your license immediately (both parties must be present) and can marry immediately.
• Minimum age required is 18 and blood tests are also required.
• Divorced/Widowed Applicants must provide a copy of the divorce decree or death certificate.
