Yellowstone Gateway Communities
Yellowstone National Park draws upwards of 3+ million visitors each year, 60% of which are here for their first time. However, what many people don't realize prior to their visit, is that many of the memories you will make occur in the gateway communities that surround each park entrance. With so many people visiting, there is simply not enough lodging available within the Park boundaries. Therefore, it is the gateway towns that provide much of the lodging, dining and many of the activities you will partake in during your trip.
These gateways, viewed above, are each unique in character and offer something special. So, take some time to look around and see what you're missing outside the Park boundaries!
