The Mount Desert Island Marathon is one of the most scenic races in all of North America. with a grand history of marathons across the state of Maine, the MDI run is one that you will want to see!
Our certified 26.2-mile foot race begins in downtown Bar Harbor, and continues through highs and lows around the island. You can expect long gradual downhills, running alongside ragged cliffs, water sounds and rolling curves and vistas.
