When visiting Yellowstone National Park, if you want to rent any type of outdoor recreational equipment, with few exceptions, you will need to do so at suppliers located at the various gateway communities.

Most rental outdoor equipment is NOT available from the concessionaire within Yellowstone National Park. However, there are many suppliers/outfitters that will help you fulfill your needs at any of the surrounding communities.
- Bozeman, Montana – 90 miles from the West Entrance
- Cody, Wyoming – 50 miles from the East Entrance
- Jackson, Wyoming – 60 miles from the South Entrance
- West Yellowstone, Montana – directly at the West Entrance

If you haven’t brought it with you and you want to take to the trails, the waters and the campgrounds of this magnificent Park outfitted with the proper gear, there are a number of retailers outside the Park that specialize in renting outdoor recreational equipment.
